Principal's Message

The staff and I welcome each of you to Meadow Park Elementary School.  I feel very lucky to be a part of the Meadow Park School community. This year will be no doubt feel different, having ended last year in Emergency Distance Learning and beginning this year with Distance Learning.  Looking at Meadow Park, when our students return to the school site, some have you have chosen a Hybrid Model or the Traditional.  Some of our students will be online for the entire year through the Irvine Virtual Academy.  Regardless of all of the changes, one thing remains certain.  Your children are our connection and we will spend the rest of the year continuing to grow.  I look forward to the 2020/21 school year and continuing the mission of Meadow Park Elementary School.  We will continue to inspire all students to dream, believe, and succeed!  This year, it will just look differently than it has in the past.

It is clear that Meadow Park is a great example of what can happen when educators, parents and the community work together in the best interest of children. I love the fact that we all work together to bring out the best in one another and in all of our students. We are a school family that believes in Responsibility, being On time and ready, having a Positive attitude, Expecting respect, and being Safety first (ROPES).

When we created our Vision Statement through the collective efforts of our entire staff, I loved the process because we had the opportunity to really reflect what is most important for our students.   I think it is so important to bring all of us together to really put into words what we want to accomplish.  It reads:

Together the Meadow Park School Community will create safe learning environments that develop intellectual risk taking to ensure that all students will achieve high levels of success academically, behaviorally, and socially through collaboration, collective commitments, critical thinking, and communication.

I often say, “Together, we can make great things happen.” I can’t wait to see all of things we will continue to accomplish.  On behalf of the entire Meadow Park Elementary School staff, we thank you for all that you do. We look forward to continuing to great things happen this year as we embark on a wonderful journey next year.
